I doodle and paint with an army of Sharpies and other permanent markers on 5×7 canvas board or card stock. My style is folk, like Grandma Moses. My art is often gifted to my friends and family. I also play in polymer clay. I like to work in miniature. It reminds me of playing with Fisher Price toys from the late 70s and 80s. My clay figurines purposely lack a face. It is inspired by Amish dolls who often don’t have faces. It allows the imagination to take root. Each one is a labor and manifestation of love.
